  • Sandi Wilson

Sports have always been a part of my life…whether playing or spectating! I was a competitive swimmer starting at age 10 through high school, a basketball and volleyball player from 7th grade through high school, and a tennis player in high school, college intramural, and adult 3.5-4.0 league player. We settled in Hawaii in late 2015 after my husband retired from 23 years of Active Duty service. Just a short year ago, I had my first pickleball experience after friends suggested I give it a try! And what fun I had! I have enjoyed learning and playing since that very first day and am now a certified PPR coach!! I totally get the mass popularity of pickleball and why so many people want to get out on the courts! Pickleball players are fun, social folks who enjoy being together and having fun while learning and competing! I can’t wait to share my enthusiasm with others and bring more people to the game. Come see what all the hype is about so you, too, can be a part of this fast-growing, fun sport!! See you on the court!!!

  • Ekaterina Biakina (aka KATA)

Prior to my 18+ years of coaching tennis and beach tennis, I competed and was ranked professionally in tennis from the juniors level to the pro level. As a young athlete, I was fortunate to be coached by some of the best coaches in the world of my generation and I had successful ITF (International Tennis Federation) tournament results in both singles and doubles. After, I transitioned to coaching, completing various certifications for youth, juniors and adults. In the tennis academy I created, I learned to vary my coaching style based on the age group’s characteristics and individuals’ personalities and abilities. As a result my tennis academy had many victories in regional and international levels.

I added professional Beach Tennis to my athletic career and in the past 5 years my top ranking was #22 in the world.

This year, I transitioned my tennis and beach tennis skills into Pickleball, and began my pro tour participation almost immediately. I am currently ranked #20 in singles on the PPA tour – which is the highest level tour for pickleball in the world.

I am passionate about offering fun – but highly productive - lessons for many ages and abilities. Whether you need to work on specific skills, singles or doubles strategy – it is my pleasure to help you improve quickly!
